What Allison Stokke heard on the other end of the line that day filled her with happiness. Thankfully, the University of California, Berkeley did not hold the negative attention against her and offered the young pole vaulter a full-ride scholarship for her to compete on their track and field team. Of course, Stokke said yes in a heartbeat! Her dreams had come true!
Less than a year later, Stokke found herself on the Berkley campus and under the wing of a fantastic coach named Scott Slover. Could Slover and Stokke work together to finally make the pole vaulter’s comeback finally stick? They would soon find out!
