Courtney Love was not only one of the most infamous pop figures of the ‘90s, but she also became the queen of rock and roll when she married another icon of the era, Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain. Their short-lived yet passionate romance only lasted for two years, with the pair welcoming their first daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, before Kurt’s tragic death in 1994.
Eventually, Love left her band Hole and moved on to a solo career, releasing her debut album America’s Sweetheart in 2004. Unfortunately, the album was a commercial failure and Love later described it as a “mistake.” She briefly reunited with Hole in 2010 but decided to explore other ventures unrelated to music. These days, Love works as an actress, guest-starring in shows like Sons of Anarchy, Revenge, and Empire.
