The Fiat ad starring Catrinel Menghia as a personified version of their 500 model is undoubtedly one of the sexiest commercials ever made. In fact, Fiat President Olivier Francois sent the ad to a group of journalists first, asking them if it was “too hot for TV.” The commercial features Menghia seducing a man on the street, only for him to discover that its all a daydream, and he’s actually looking at a Fiat 500.
In the end, the company decided to release the ad. And, it must have worked, as Fiat reportedly saw a spike in sales after they released the commercial. Was it word of mouth or the ad? We’ll let you decide!
