Financial and Life Lessons You Can Learn From The Amish
Did you know there are many lessons you can learn from the Amish? From cooking to working and more learn how they live…
28. No Toys For The Kids
Anyone who has children would agree, rising kids can be incredibly expensive. Not only are there mouths to feed and bodies to clothe, but they also need toys to keep themselves occupied. And the price tags of those toys can really add up! However, the Amish community has an easier way to get around that expense.
If outsiders wandered around an Amish community, they would notice that Amish children don’t play with many toys. Instead, they use their imagination to entertain themselves. Furthermore, the few toys that the children have are homemade and very simple. For example, they have their famous faceless dolls which they can find in most Amish shops across the U.S. Unsurprisingly, saving on toys can really help them save money for the children’s future.
