Latrell Sprewell – Poor Spending Habits

Is it any surprise that basketball player Latrell Sprewell, most famous for choking out his Golden State Warriors coach, PJ Carlesimo, during practice, had money problems? Despite a fantastic career, Sprewell was always followed by the 1997 incident, even after leaving the court.
Sprewell is also famous for another lousy decision: rejecting a $21 million contract from the Timberwolves. Apparently, he didn’t think it was enough money. Too bad for Sprewell, as just as a year later, no team wanted him. A few years after that, things became so dire that the former star needed to downsize his house and sell his yacht.
