Dan Marino had a prominent career as a quarterback who played for the Miami Dolphins. Throughout his NFL career, Marino broke many records, earned multiple awards, and made plenty of money. After his retirement from football, Marino tried a variety of different professions, including a live sportscaster and then a sports analyst. However, despite these lucrative jobs, his poor business decisions caused Marino to nearly go broke.
Back in 2012, the world witnessed Tupac Shakur resurrected as a hologram at the Coachella music festival. Impressed by this, Marino decided to purchase over $1.5 million shares of the company that produced the technology. However, Digital Domain eventually went broke, causing Marino to lose over $14 million!
