Deuce McAllister – Bad Investments and Debt

Deuce McAllister was on his way to becoming one of the Saints’ most successful players of all time. During his years on the team, McAllister managed to make tens of millions of dollars. However, just like so many other athletes, McAllister made some serious poor investments that left him financially ruined.
As a result, McAllister’s home was seized by the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office and was auctioned off. What’s more, the bank that held his mortgage, Whitney National Bank, sued him, claiming that he owed $1.8 million on the mortgage. To make matters worse, McAllister also lost a Nissan dealership in Jackson, Mississippi that he purchased, his only real source of income. Since then, McAllister has not been able to make a comeback.
