Vince Young – Poor Spending Habits
Many would assume that as a former star quarterback for the Tennessee Titans for many years, Vince Young would enjoy a relatively comfortable lifestyle. Well, that’s not the case! Believe it or not, just seven years after signing with the NFL team, Young filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. That’s really no surprise as, according to Ronnie Peoples, his financial advisor, Young actually spent his money faster than he made it – despite receiving a $26 million contract.
During his time in the limelight, Young would buy extremely high-ticket items, including a $176,000 Ferrari, what many would pay for a house. Young’s bankruptcy petition showed that he had assets worth $1 million, while his liabilities were between $3 and $10 million. Young retired for the NFL back in 2011, and fans have heard little from him since then.
