While he is one of the most famous names in NFL history, Warren Sapp also has one of the most famous bankruptcy stories ever. During his 1995 to 2007 career, Sapp earned an impressive $82.2 million. However, when filing for bankruptcy, his bank account’s balance was an ordinary $826.04!
Believe it or not, at one point, Sapp was forced to sell every single one of his belongings, whether he liked it or not. At the auction of his items, all of Sapp’s expensive taste items were on full display. Among the items sold were: an expensive tennis shoe collection, lion-skin rug, and multiple luxury cars. It seems like Sapp has an even more luxurious taste than the Queen of England!
