There’s little doubt you know who Paris Hilton is, or how her family made their fortune. They named the Hilton Hotel Corporation after themselves, after all! However, for those of you who do not know, Barron Hilton is the grandfather of Paris and the inheritor of the Hilton CEO position. As of today, Hilton is worth $2.3 billion, most of which he made from the Hilton Hotel Corporation.
Apparently, Barron Hilton may have learned from his father’s mistake of passing money down to him. So he left 97% of his wealth to the Hilton Foundation, a charity organization that donates and supports companies that follow its “values:” “integrity, thinking big, humility, stewardship, and compassion.”
