Unlike celebrities born into wealthy families, rapper 50 Cent has had to work hard for every cent he worked for, no pun intended. Growing up, he lost his mother at just 8 and needed to join gangs to support himself. During this time, as a teenager, he was shot and arrested – all before becoming a famous rapper. What’s more, 50 Cent was only 21-years-old when his son, Marquise, was born.
As Marquise grew older, 50 Cent no longer needed child support payments. Since then, unfortunately, the rapper and Marquise have drifted further and further apart. Back in June 2019, 50 Cent went as far as publicly disowning his son. “I got a blood test that’s not my kid,” he commented on Instagram. So, it’s safe to assume Marquise will not recieve any of 50 Cent’s $30 million fortune.
