Not only is Sophia Loren one of the last surviving icons of Hollywood’s Golden Age, but the actress and singer remains one of the most recognizable faces on Earth. Loren achieved success through films like Two Women and The Houseboat, earning an Oscar, BAFTA, and five Golden Globes. Then, she went on to conquer the music industry! Between 1958 and 1972, she released five albums, also receiving a Grammy.
Even though Loren officially retired back in the 1990s, she still does some acting work in her home country of Italy. She and her husband, Carlo Ponti Sr., a successful film producer who passed away in 2007, did an incredible job managing their fortune. Today, Loren is worth $75 million!
