If you’re a fan of classic television, then you almost certainly remember actress Elinor Donahue for her role as Betty Anderson on Father Knows Best, a squeaky clean sitcom that ran from 1954 to 1960 across two networks.
However, like other clean sitcoms, like Leave It To Beaver, audiences became bored with Father Knows Best in the ’60s and wanted more adult humor. Thankfully, Donahue never had to look for much work! Throughout the 80s, 90s, and 00s, the actress starred in everything from The Golden Girls and Friends to Pretty Woman and Princess Diaries II. While Donahue retired from the screen in 2011, the 83-year-old recently published an autobiography and still enjoys an impressive net worth of $3 million.
