While actor Patrick Duffy earned a series of leading roles in the 1970s, including in the cult series Man From Atlantis, he did not become a household name until the ’80s, thanks to the hit show Dallas. On the primetime soap, Duffy played rich playboy Bobby Ewing, becoming not only a star, but also a heartthrob. He played Ewing from Dallas‘ start in 1978 until its iconic end in 1991.
Sadly, after the show ended, Duffy has yet to find another regular role on television. However, he continues to work, nabbing bit parts in everything from Family Guy to NCIS. Meanwhile, Dallas has kept Duffy flush, as he still enjoys a net worth of $30 million.
