Not only is Marsha Hunt one of the greatest actresses of all time, but she’s also an incredibly important part of history! In case you didn’t know, Hunt was one of those actresses blacklisted by Hollywood film studio executives in the 1950s during McCarthyism. However, this didn’t stop the actress from making an incredible comeback years later. In fact, afterward, she did some of her best work starring in movies like Pride and Prejudice and Raw Deal, among others.
During the midst of the blacklist era, Hunt found a new passion and became active in the humanitarian cause of world hunger. These days, the actress focuses more on these issues than starring in major motion pictures. It seems like Hunt is still determined to make the world a better place!
