Of course, Gombreau had seen homeless people before. She had seen them endure all sorts of situations, from begging to working dangerous day jobs, all just to stay alive. However, she had never seen one eating food from the trash before. In front of her, the homeless man had discovered some fries in the garbage and started eating them.
Sometimes, all it takes is one person to change our lives. Gombreau knew that well. She didn’t view herself as a guardian angel or anything like that, she just wanted to help this hungry man. With a few seconds, Gombreau had hatched a plan. All the while, the woman had no idea it was actually the homeless man who would end up helping her!
