Long before she became a globally-recognized actress thanks to her role as paranormal investigator Lorraine Warren in The Conjuring universe, Vera Farmiga played a minor role as Lindsay Carson in the original Law & Order series on the episode entitled “Expert.”
The actress went on to conquer much bigger roles in film and television projects including The Departed, The Boy in The Striped Pyjamas, The Manchurian Candidate, The Many Saints of Newark, and Bates Motel. In 2021, the Emmy- and Oscar- nominated actress joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Eleanor Bishop, the mother of Kate Bishop in Hawkeye.
