Hollywood A-lister Zoe Saldaña became a global superstar thanks to her remarkable roles in films like the Star Trek reboot, Guardians of the Galaxy, Avengers: Endgame, Avengers: Infinity War, and the mega-blockbuster film Avatar directed by James Cameron.
An unknown fact to some of her fans is that Saldana portrayed the role of Belinca in the “Refuge” and “Murder” episodes of the original Law & Order. She then went on to play Gabrielle Vega, the daughter of a murder suspect in the spin-off series Special Victims Unit. Using her fame and platform, Saldaña founded BESE in 2017, an organization that aims to combat the lack of diversity in mainstream media.
