Mr. Markle remained relatively quiet after the staged paparazzi photos. Furthermore, just like his ex-wife and Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, he felt all the attention should be on Meghan. However, everything changed when he did his first tell-all interview with Pierce Morgan back in June 2018. Surprisingly, it went relatively well.
However, during his second tell-all interview, Mr. Markle did not remain as kind. “My thing about my daughter right now is that I think she is terrified,” he said “I see it in her eyes, I see it in her face, and I see it in her smile. I’ve seen her smile for years.” From there, things got worse. “Anyone who makes a profit off the royal family becomes shunned,” he remarked. “So if I moved to London and started selling cups with my daughter’s face on, would they shun me?”
