While it may be hard for us non-royal folks to understand, there are some serious consequences to a royal engagement. And while all of the Markle family had to deal with new exposure, Thomas Markle Sr. was the most affected. Or, so he had led everyone to believe after paparazzi photos of him getting ready for the wedding leaked, seen above. Unfortunately, Mr. Markle staged paparazzi photos himself, with the help of Samantha Markle.
After security cameras captured Mr. Markle and the photographer working together, he admitted to the Daily Mail that he set the photos up and receive payment for them. Furthermore, he said he did it in the hopes to improve his image, but now he âdeeply regretsâ his actions. Meanwhile, Samantha told the Mail that she told her father, âyou need to show the world that youâre getting in shape and doing great, healthy things,â before helping him. However, Thomas Sr.âs wedding troubles didnât end there.
