In 1987, Branson crossed the Atlantic Ocean in a hot air balloon, becoming the first person to ever do so!
From there, Branson used his fame to found the Virgin Group, which he remains the CEO of. Virgin Airlines, Records, and Cruises are just a few of the luxury brands in the line. Since Branson founded his first entrepreneurial endeavor back in 1970, he’s accumulated a net worth of $5.1 billion. Despite being 69-years-old, Branson holds several world records and is also a famous adventurer!
