Astronaut Buzz Aldrin Opens Up About the Truth of the Moon Landing
Astronaut Buzz Aldrin has revealed quite a bit about the moon landing. And what he had to say about one photo in particular raised eyebrows around the world…
The Apollo Program
Sadly, the Apollo program started on a tragic note. Horribly, the 1967 mission never flew. A cabin fire erupted during the launch, taking the lives of all three crew members: Command Pilot Gus Grissom, Senior Pilot Ed White, and Pilot Roger B. Chaffee. Still, despite this tragedy, the Apollo program continued, in honor of the brave men of the first Apollo mission.
Afterward, NASA took safety even more seriously than they had before. Until Apollo 7, all Apollo missions were uncrewed. Finally, two years after the first Apollo mission, NASA felt ready to send men to the moon. On July 16, 1969, Apollo 11 would take three men, Neil Armstrong, Michael Collins, and Buzz Aldrin, to the moon. Or would it?
