Like so many actresses before her, Laura san Giacomo started her career on Broadway before quickly moving on to film with her big hit, Sex, Lies, and Videotape. From there, Giacomo continued to make a name for herself in the industry through films like Pretty Woman and the hit sitcom Just Shoot Me! in which she played the lead, Maya Gallo.
These days, Giacomo still acts, albeit not as frequently. Instead, after giving birth to a son with cerebral palsy, she’s worked with multiple organizations to help find a cure for the disease.
