7. Family Dollar

For all of those of you who love the joy of finding food, home goods, and so much more for just a dollar, we have bad news for you: Family Dollars may soon become a thing of the past. Why? Well, in 2019, the chain announced it would shut down a whopping 360 stores, a majority of their locations.
Not all hope is lost, though! Family Dollar’s few remaining stores will remain in business. Still, they will be overtaken by Dollar Tree and gain that chain’s branding and merchandise. Thankfully, Dollar Tree says they plan on improving many of the more run-down locations that remain.
