In their hit song “Summer Girls,” boy band LFO sang that they loved girls who wear Abercrombie and Fitch. Unfortunately, for them and for all the summer girls out there, we have bad news. Over the next few years, the company plans on closing 40 of its stores.
However, there’s good news: Abercrombie and Fitch will actually re-open those 40 stores. Now, you’re probably confused: why close 40 stores only to re-open them at a later date? Well, the company said that the new stores will be smaller than the existing ones and in more frequented areas. Not only that, but many of the stores will be completely remodeled!
