10. The Sole Inheritor Owns an Art Museum

In addition to the family’s bank, King Adam owns several high-value properties and thriving companies. He’s also known for making lucrative investments. What’s more, as the sole inheritor of a staggering fortune that mostly originated during the Crusades, he has a world-class collection of Renaissance masterpieces!
Unfortunately, these pieces were hidden in storage during World War II. Thankfully, when King Adams received them, he put them on displays in various museums so, that way, the entire world would enjoy them. “It has always been a tradition of the family to show our art to the public,” Hans-Adam II said in 2004. “World War II forced my father to put it into storage. It is a great pleasure for me to show it again.” His extensive collection features masterpieces by Van Dyck, Raphael, and Rembrandt.
