Reportedly, actress-comedian Amy Schumer and celebrity chef Chris Fischer had dated for a year before the comedian confirmed their relationship with an Instagram post simply captioned “Yup.” Apparently, only a handful of friends and family attended the pair’s intimate wedding ceremony, including Jennifer Lawrence, who later admitted she couldn’t keep from “sobbing” at her friend’s wedding. Back in 2019, the couple welcomed their first child, Gene Attell Fischer.
Earlier this year, Schumer revealed that Fischer had previously been diagnosed with autism. “My husband was diagnosed with what used to be called Asperger’s,” she said. “Once he was diagnosed, it dawned on me how funny it was, because all of the characteristics that make it clear that he’s on the spectrum are all of the reasons that I fell madly in love with him.”
