Two Brothers From Michigan Finally Find Oak Island Treasure
For years, the Oak Island treasure remained undiscovered and even cursed! But now two brothers from Michigan have solved the island’s biggest mysteries…
A Groundbreaking Discovery
“The evidence suggests that something quite odd did occur on this island prior to 1795,” said Marty Lagina. “Something happened here prior to 1795 and apparently much earlier, at least 100 years.” On the verge of a significant discovery, the brothers kept digging. Soon enough, they uncovered the piece they were looking for.
A new member of the team, Gary Drayton, who specializes in discovering metal objects, found a lead cross, also medieval in origin, on a trip down the Money Pit. The small cross, which has a square hole at the top, dated back to between the 1200s and the 1600s – even before Christopher Columbus sailed the ocean blue! That seemed to rule out the French government. Now, with this groundbreaking discovery, the Lagina brothers were ready to answer one of Oak Island’s biggest questions: who buried the treasure?
