In the first months, Stokke tried to let the entire situation blow over. However, this proved much more complicated than she first expected. The young pole vaulter continually received requests for photoshoots, some even risque, something she had no interest in taking part in. That was when Stokke finally decided to try a new course of action.
Desperate to stop the hounding, Stokke hired a social media manager in order to create a strategy that would help her retake her identity from those who had attempted to twist it. She and her social media soon came up with a plan they hoped would work…
