One of the most prominent actresses from the ‘90s, Gaby Hoffmann, starred alongside some of the most successful Tinseltown actors of that era. Hoffmann made her acting debut in the hit baseball drama Field of Dreams. Afterward, the actress went on to star in Uncle Buck and Sleepless in Seattle, starring Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan.
After her short-lived success as an teen actress, Hoffman took a break from Hollywood. She didn’t return to Hollywood after graduating from college, spending her 20s taking on several normal jobs. Eventually, she decided to give acting another go and starred on small independent projects like Life During Wartime. Now, she’s also appeared on several critically acclaimed TV shows, including Girls and Transparent.
