Almost everyone remembers Farrah Fawcett, thanks to her iconic roles on shows like Charlie’s Angles and movies like The Cannonball Run. However, many don’t know that before Fawcett’s career breakthrough role on Angels, she actually starred on commercials for Noxzema shaving cream.
The ads featured the actress lavishly smearing shaving cream on a man’s face in his bathroom. However, most importantly, the various camera angles made it seem like Fawcett had appeared nude. As you might imagine, the ad caused quite a stir in the 1970s. Still, it boosted not only Noxzems sales, but also Fawcett’s career!
