Boris Becker – Poor Spending Habits

In addition to his iconic name, German tennis player Boris Becker became a legend by winning Wimbledon a whopping three times! He also became famous for his off-court life of luxury. For those not in the know, Becker was the Central African Republic’s attaché for sports, culture, and humanitarian affairs to the European Union.
Unfortunately, like so many others, Becker kept spending, even when the cash stopped flowing in. After filing for bankruptcy, the broke star watched lawyers take and sell everything he owned. In one of the most famous auctions of all time, all of Becker’s tennis memorabilia heartbreakingly went to the highest bidder.
