Bjorn Borg is a Swedish tennis player who won multiple championships throughout the ’70s and into the early ’80s, including winning a total of 41 titles, including the French Open six times, Wimbledon five times, and the World Championship Tennis competition once. Believe it or not, Borg chose to retire when he was just 26, realizing he would never be as good as he was as a young player.
Afterward, when Borg’s marriage crumbled, and his business ventures failed, he found himself very close to broke in the late 1980s.
