Steve Howe – Poor Spending Habits

NBC Sports

Steve Howe was a professional baseball player who played as a pitcher, debuting in the MLB in 1980 playing for the Los Angeles Dodgers. During his pro career, Howe played for four teams in total, including the Minnesota Twins, Texas Rangers, and New York Yankees. Howe left the baseball field and entered retirement in 1996.

While Howe made a lot of money in career earnings, he, like most athletes, ended up completely broke. Thankfully, he filed for bankruptcy in 1984. As such, Howe overcame his financial struggles thanks to his following years in the MLB. Howe passed away at the age of 48 back in 2006.
