Scott Harrison – Rehab Fees

For those who might not know, Scott Harrison was the first Scottish boxer to gain the World Boxing Federation featherweight title. Reportedly, Harrison managed to make $5 million in career winning, though he still ended up without a penny. You see, Harrison had problems with drinking and had a couple of run-ins with the law.
In 2006, Harrison pulled out of the fight to check into rehab, but it didn’t work. The same year, he was arrested on charges of auto theft and assault. Officials stripped him out of his title and license to box for failing to show up for a fight and weigh in. By July 2007, the pride of Scotland declared bankruptcy after losing his last fight, over unpaid taxes!
