A year after researchers found Oase 1, they found yet another hybrid human in yet another cave, this one in South Africa. This is the oldest hybrid human yet, Homo naledi, having lived around 335,000 to 236,000 years ago. Homo naledi is a hominid with a mix of modern humans and incredibly old archaic humans, namely Australopithecus.
