This has to be one of the strangest songs ever to become a one hit wonder. And, if you assumed that The Weather Girls, the writers and singers of “It’s Raining Men,” might have gone on to a long career in dance music, we have some bad news for you. While the female duo remained on the Billboard Top 100 chart for a whopping 11 weeks, they never managed to find another hit in their arsenal.
Since then, The Weather Girls have continued with a strange career. Today, the duo continues to perform – but with neither of the women who made “It’s Raining Men” famous. That’s right!
