However, that’s precisely what happened with the New Radicals. “You Get What You Give” was one of the only two singles the band produced before breaking up in 1999. Still, the song has not only become a number one hit, but it also appeared in movies and T.V. shows like Glee, Community, and A Walk To Remember.
Given that 50% of the band’s songs became number one hits, who knows what would have happened if the New Radicals had stayed together? Sadly, we will never know…
