Sadly, when your first single is an absolute smash, it can be hard to achieve the same success again. That’s precisely what happened to Katrina and the Waves. Still, the band kept it going until the late 1990s, when they decided to disband for good. The title of their final album, which they released in 1997, included a nod to that first single that made them legends: Walk on Water.
