Is there a more ’90s band name than Deep Blue Something? Still, despite the strange band name, they managed to chart a hit with “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” in 1995. However, while fans shot the song to the number one spot, the members of Deep Blue Something started to resent becoming a one hit wonder.
“There were definitely times it got a bit frustrating to constantly talk about ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ in every interview or appearance,” the band revealed in an interview with Buzz magazine in 2019. “But after all this time, we feel very lucky to be a part of something that strikes a chord with so many people and it’s still a blast to play it at every show. It’s always a massive singalong and there’s nothing better than that.”
