Low Budget Films That Made Their Money Back

Miramax Films

Not only did Quentin Tarantino’s sophomore film define the 90s, but Pulp Fiction also still remains one of the highest performing low budget movies of all time. While the film might feel all-Hollywood, it only cost Miramax $8.5 million to produce. However, they still managed to snag an all-star cast, including John Travolta, Bruce Willis, Uma Turman, and Samuel L. Jackson.

An instant hit, Pulp Fiction earned a staggering $213 million at the box office, becoming one of the most remembered films ever. Of course, afterward, Tarantino would go on to make plenty more iconic hits, like Kill Bill, Django Unchained, and Inglorious Bastards.
