When it comes to the royal dress code, there are many “by-laws.” Particularly, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle have many color dos-and-don’ts. They must adjust their appearances to the place they visiting and, of course, the venue. Sporting colors and symbols of local importance is an excellent way for the royal family to show that they respect the culture and history of the location they’re visiting.
For instance, in a recent trip to Canada, Kate Middleton wore a red dress and a maple leaf brooch, as well as a red coat. Furthermore, neither Markle nor Middleton can wear black during the day, unless it is for a funeral or memorial event.
