As mentioned before, the Queen also has her own personal assets including the epic $140 million Balmoral Castle, seen above. Balmoral sits in the beautiful, northern Scottish country of Aberdeenshire. So, like many other castles of the royal, Balmoral castle is open to all public from April to July every year. Every year, millions travel to the castle to take pictures on its sprawling lawns and in its old halls.
Another of the Queen’s personal assets is the $65 million and 20,000-acre Sandringham House in the east of England. Queen Elizabeth loves spending Christmas time here and sitting in its 59-acre garden. Both properties were inherited from her father, King George VI, and they serve as beloved family retreats.
