As you can see, there is no dust or crater left in the wake of the Apollo 11 lunar module. Many moon landing disbelievers say that there should at least be some moon dust floating around, if not a crater from the module. Once again, they’re actually partially right!
First, there was dust scattering! Many photos show it clearly, and the astronauts discussed it during their time on the moon. However, the images of the module descending did not catch the dust. Meanwhile, the moon is actually quite firm, and NASA designed the module to land softly – that’s why there’s no crater!
