Thai Royal Family, the Chakri dynasty, has been ruling Thailand for 236 years. However, nowadays, the Royal Family is best known for their late King, Bhumibol Adulyadej. He acquired a fortune worth $30 billion in the Crown Property Bureau (CPB). Their current King, Maha Vajiralongkorn ascended in 2016, upon the death of the father.
With a total of 22 family members, the Royal family is based in Bangkok. Collectively, the Royal family has a fortune worth $60 billion in assets. However, the big question is: where does all this money come from? Well, many investors and employees claim that it comes from other companies investments, banks, and real states. As it turns out, the CPB holds 40,000 contracts around the country. And it all goes to funding the Royal Family’s lavish lifestyle.
