California is known for its beachy lifestyle and nearly perfect weather year-round. Unsurprisingly, that attracts many residents, young and old. As a result, however, California’s housing prices have soared and so has its unemployment. In fact, its the second-most expensive state to live in, just underneath Hawaii.
