New York State is one of the few America’s states that offers a mix of big-city living and small-town culture.  Not only that, but its residents also enjoy sports, arts, and rural wildlife. However, life here is not a pizza party! You see, the Big Apple also offers a sky-high cost of living. Not only that but also bitter cold winters up north, taxes that are among the highest in the country, not to mention the scarcity of jobs in New York’s rural areas.

Unsurprisingly, many residents are deciding to start over in other states. Furthermore, they have no choice but to look for better jobs, a comfy retirement, and a good destination to raise their family. Here’s an unbelievable fact for you: according to Bloomberg, close to 300 people are moving out from New York State every day!
